By accessing CalcCircuit.com ("the site") you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Service description

CalcCircuit provides free online calculators, unit converters, productivity generators, and educational content. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

2. Not professional advice

All results are estimates for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute professional financial, legal, medical, tax, or engineering advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making decisions based on calculator results, especially for loans, investments, taxes, retirement planning, health metrics, or any other consequential matter.

Examples: a mortgage payment estimate is not a loan offer; a BMI value is not a diagnosis; a calorie target is not a nutrition plan.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA) to use this site. By using the site you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or its related systems.
• Use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools to access the site except for legitimate search engine indexing or as permitted by our robots.txt.
• Interfere with or disrupt the site, its servers, or any networks connected to it.
• Republish, redistribute, or commercially exploit calculator content without written permission.
• Use the site to harass, abuse, or harm another person.

5. Intellectual property

All content on CalcCircuit — including text, graphics, logos, code, calculator logic, and images — is owned by CalcCircuit or its licensors and is protected by US and international copyright and trademark laws.

You may view, print, and use the calculators for personal or commercial calculation purposes. You may not copy our articles, blog posts, or branded graphics to republish elsewhere without written permission.

Each tool page exposes an "Embed" widget that you may use to embed the calculator on your own website, subject to our embed terms.

6. User accounts and saved data

Optional account features let you save calculations and sync them across devices. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a security risk.

7. Third-party services and ads

The site displays ads through Google AdSense and uses Google Analytics 4. These third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or the practices of those services. See our Privacy Policy for details.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CalcCircuit, its owners, employees, partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of the service.

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold CalcCircuit harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of your breach of these Terms or your use of the service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to the site at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users or the site.

11. Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the latest version. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the site shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

EU/EEA consumers may also bring claims in their country of residence and rely on mandatory consumer-protection rules of that country.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
